Investigator Studies Program (MISP): Ebola
Effective April 2021, the Merck Investigator Studies Program Review Committee (MISP-RC) for Ebola will accept proposals within our current areas of interest (AOI) up to June 28, 2021. This is a competitive review process that will be conducted by the Ebola MISP Review Committee. Decisions will be made on the basis of scientific merit and strategic fit within the AOI. The program requests that investigators specify how they will support diversity in enrollment to include traditionally underrepresented minorities/ethnic groups.

The following areas are of interest to Investigator Studies Program Committee:

Durability of immunogenicity or protection from rVSVΔG-ZEBOV-GP vaccination including populations such as health care providers, pediatrics, pregnant or lactating women, and immunocompromised / HIV+ individuals

Modeling studies to inform Ebola vaccination strategies and stockpile recommendations Studies to identify methods to improve pharmacovigilance systems in African countries prone to Ebola outbreaks

Coadministration with other vaccines or products including monoclonal antibodies Safety and immunogenicity after a dose of rVSVΔG-ZEBOV-GP or other Ebola vaccine administered ≥18 months after a prior Ebola vaccination
